A platform is one tenant: its own people, its own data, its own address, its own set of switched-on capabilities. Platforms and sites describes what one is made of.
Platforms are created in the Console, which is not self-serve today — so there is no sequence of steps on this page for you to follow yet. When Console access is open, this page will carry the walkthrough.
What you can do now: create an account, and reach any platform you have already been given a place on.
